The Chrissy
Vanilla ice cream + Frangelico + Vodka = the most luxurious, crowd-stopping party drink you’ve ever served. This one is rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable. The famous ice cream cocktail "The Chrissy" is a signature drink originating from the bar at the Ruth's Chris Steak House in Mobile, Alabama, my hometown.
Ingredients
- 1 gallon premium vanilla ice cream slightly softened
- 32 oz Frangelico Liqueur
- 16 oz Vodka
- Optional: A splash of milk or heavy cream if a thinner consistency is desired
Instructions
- Soften: Allow the gallon of vanilla ice cream to soften slightly at room temperature for 10–15 minutes
- Combine: In a very large pitcher, punch bowl, or by working in batches in a blender, combine the softened ice cream, Frangelico, and vodka
- Blend/Mix: Blend until smooth and creamy, or whisk vigorously until thoroughly combined and frothy
- Serve: Pour into chilled glasses or a punch bowl
Notes
Serve immediately for a pourable, milkshake-like consistency — or return to the freezer briefly for a thicker, scoopable texture. Either way, it's absolutely divine!
